Hello to all our Jak and Daxter fans, today I'm back with my old friend Jason Rubin with a special announcement!
We caught wind of the glitch-hunting and speedrunning community around Jak and Daxter, and we were quite frankly a little disappointed in ourselves for not finding all these bugs and shortcuts before releasing the game in 2001 (hey, at least we caught that Geyser Rock warp gate skip the week before...)
So, after 20-something years, we've properly patched the game! No more skipping over Fire Canyon or Lava Tube. We hope you will enjoy the game still :) If not, please hit the gym and not your keyboard.
As long as you've got your original PS2 copy of Jak and Daxter, you can upgrade to this new version for free!
